I did an intake yesterday, transferring from another clinic, which only took about 3 hours. Staff were cool.
Jenna I am so sad to hear that happened to you. I worked there for over 5 years. I loved my job. I loved seeing the transformations in the Patients who came in and found healing, granted not all were there for the right intentions. I enjoyed my work and I hope that I at least made some sort of difference in someones life. Methadone is treatment, Not a DEATH Sentence. Come in , change behaviors, taper off, live life!!!!! As a former employee, I can honestly say my time working at El Cajon CTC was a fantastic experience. The dedication of the staff is unparalleled. We are on the front lines of the fentanyl epidemic. As a member of the recovery community, I am a strong advocate for 12-Step recovery, harm reduction, MAT, or whatever works. I always say, we are working to keep people alive long enough to hear the message of recovery. God bless all the work done here.
It’s worked for 13 years of my life. I took a good stumble along the way. I’ll follow the rules. I don’t want to die again.
Staff is horrible, no activity on steps, no take homes even though I’ve been working my program staying clean, but since I take dr prescribed medicine I’m not able to get take homes, and it seems there’s a new policy or rule that no one realizes until they are being told something about some rule being broke. The director is never available and doesn’t matter what my rights as a patient is because everything is just looked over like we don’t have a file with our signature on paperwork that we agreed to
