We were really looking into booking with Elmonte for our trip in 2025. We have been loyal renters with Cruise America. We found out when looking at prices. There were differences in rates at Elmonterv.com and Elmonterv.co. They give a deal to those without US addresss. They charge higher rates and miles if you have a US address. Same company but they provide huge discounts for those who don't live-in the USA. You have to read the fine print to find this out. Buyer (or renter) beware!! Nothing was straightforward in my entire experience with them. A complete bait and switch. They would say one thing, then do another. They tried to talk me out of ordering the inspection from the very beginning. They were so friendly and accomodating until I called them out on their deception. There are slide defects (cracks in the fiberglass) on their Forest River units that they are aware of but don't disclose.
