I have never rented an RV before and had no idea what to expect. Would it be old and decrepit? Would it be gross and dirty? Would the AC crap out on us when it was 100 degrees and we were 200 miles away? TLDR: the RV was almost new. It was very clean and everything worked great. Would 100% rent from these guys again and will recommend them to others. A lot of others mention cleaning & deposite. Great service from the staff and gave us fair upfront pricing. The camper we got was also reliable and drove well. I would definitely use this company in the future.
We just got back from a 30 day 5,256 mile road trip renting a 30' class C. We have NEVER done anything like this before and were so pleasantly surprised with this company I can't tell you! We were skeptical all the way to the end but they proved us wrong and had amazing customer service from start to finish and the price quoted (which I booked on line super easy) was the price we paid! My first RV camping experience and we chose to rent from Road Bear RV cos they were a 10min drive from my home. Little did I know this is an amazing rv rental spot. We booked a 25-27 Class C RV, arrived for pick up on time, they conducted a walk through (very useful but please watch the video they send prior to understand all functionalities) completed paper work and we hit the road. BEST. EVER! We had beyond super customer service. And even better equipment. The place was over accommodating and everything about this experience was A+ !!! We rented a Class A that had only 8k miles. Make sure to have Dirk take care of you! Great service, great vehicle, great support!! (We rent RVs a lot - our favorite spot!)
Easy to work with for rental rv drop off. Had my account ready to go and were very fair about final charges. Got me a lyft to airport and just overall very efficient, courteous, and professional.
Love these guys... We've used them the last 2 years for our annual trip to TTITD (look it up if you don't know) and they were awesome. The RV's they've provided have been great and they were super flexible when we requested to go to a larger size. I'll say this isn't the place to come if you aren't willing to taking care of their RV's and clean them properly when they are returned, but I've had no cleaning fees the last two years and received a full refund on our deposit. BEWARE! First, it wasn't till the day of pickup that we were informed that they did not deweatherize the RV. So, NO WATER! BUTT, we were told we could have it done ourselves. BUTT, couldn't tell us where OR how much it would cost us. USELESS! Second, at least he told us that the oven wasn't working. He told us that if we kept trying it would eventually come on. NOT!!! Hired from Road Bear previously and had a completely different experience this time. Due to American Airlines losing our luggage between Dallas and Seattle, we arrived at Road Bear five hours later than planned. I phoned early to advise of our delay and Road Bear were very understanding. We arrived at Road Bear after a horrifying Kamikaze taxi ride to find another three families wading through pre-holiday paperwork.
