Did a one way rental. Pick up was easy. RV was ready to go early. The young lady working the desk was awesome and very helpful. Pick up and drop off was easy. Wish they had a shuttle service to and from airports. I will definately keep my eyes open for other one way deals.
Good service. Good selection of RVs. Reservation process was easy and the orientation was easy too. I'd use them again. I felt like their service was cheaper than what was offered by others.
Overall a really positive experience. My only disappointing part was they only offered a 2 week minimum on the rental when we only needed it for 5 days, which drastically increased the cost. Other then that, the customer service was great and the person in Seattle that helped us when we dropped it off was very kind!
Absolutely awesome experience with El Monte!! They have a great staff who gave us clear tips and instructions. It was exactly as they said. No hidden charges or suprises. And they had a whole wall of free items from previous vacationers, where you could find anything from firewood shovels and chairs, to food, coffee, and dishsoap! Everything on our RV worked perfectly and was in good condition. Exceeded all expectations! Will definately rent again!
I compared most of the rental options including renting from a private owner on one of those sharing sites, but El Monte's price (with an AAA discount code) was unbeatable. They are very understaffed, hard to get people on the phone, but the Road Bear RV staff was very helpful. I spent about 20 minutes cleaning, was worried the RV might not be clean enough, but they didn't charge any additional fee.
