The retention pond behind Gold Dust Circle and Prosperity Avenue in the Fortune Lakes neighborhood has been in terrible condition since its management was transferred to the HOA, Empire Management Group. Despite charging fees for its upkeep, the HOA has done nothing to maintain it. We have a huge safety hazard in the Fortune Lakes subdivision in Kissimmee. Specifically the retention pond behind the homes on Prosperity Ave and GoldDust Circle. This pond is full of toxic algae. The pond looks more like a dirt path,children can mistake this and fall in. HOA is oblivious and hasn’t maintained the pond since the county transferred its maintenance. This pond was an asset and beautiful, now it’s a dump. HOA avoid a lawsuit.

The receptionists are friendly and helpful but my community rep is evasive and non-responsive. As if he was trying to hide from me and did not want to talk to me. I would only hope that Eddie Vargas is not you community rep!
