I can't say enough about this place - caring and dedicated staff, to a person; from the reception area, to the people on facilities detail, PT/OT, nursing, patient care and medical staff, and case management, right up to the CEO himself. Patient to staff ratio is strictly enforced and will not go below 1:5, and beds/intake will be capped if not enough staff. The place is kept VERY clean and all hygenic best practices observed. I had a very positive experience at Encompass. Nurses and aides were great, I never had to wait for help. The physicians were genuine and caring, taking time to explain things and help with planning. OT Deanna was excellent and very caring. PT Bridget always had a smile on her face. The gym has windows to the outside and there is an outdoor courtyard to exercise. I took a tumble and did some damage to my left MCL. The social worker. Kelly recommended that I go there for rehab. It was extremely painful. Since I had never heard of Encompass rehab, I didn't know what to expect. Well. I was blown away! This place is the example all other rehab places should should strive to be. The doctors, therapists, nurses, social workers are excellent!! I was walking without much pain within a couple of days. The best place in Danbury. Thank you. Encompass Rehab!! I was at Envompass for a week. My medications were changed and watched. I had therapy for my balance and they pushed me to get the most out of my visit. The Nurses and Therapists were great I would highly recommend it for someone looking for a health care place.

My mom left with an impacted stool. Drs didn’t listen or apply the correct dosages or medications. Not a great place for the elderly. Nurses were great but can’t go against drs orders. First night we had some video Dr come on who was inept. Wouldn’t give my elderly mom the correct meds and was totally incompetent. Took us two days to get her meds ones and distributed the right way. We discharged her after the third day to another facility. They boast about great Pt here but you won’t get any on the weekends. I saw ... read more
