RecommendedThe nursing staff are extremely considerate of their patient needs and physical therapy there is phenomenal! I felt like I was a queen and they were sp encouraging ! The phrase I can was what I needed to hear and I did every day! Occupational therapy was amazing to help you know what to do when you get home!
RecommendedThe staff is kind, helpful and efficient. But I had to work hard, and therapy participation is expected. It’s working! Today staff decorated the gym for Super Bowl. All of us were in groups. One for queso, one for fresh salsa, and another group making pigs in blanket. Every single patient participated in cooking. Before this event, I got polite nod and smile. Unfortunately, our experience has been quite disappointing. During his time there, my family observed that he received care from only two competent nurses and one outstanding nurse technician. Despite our repeated concerns about his declining condition, communicated to the nursing staff, case manager, and attending physician, we felt that our concerns were not adequately addressed. My dad was here 2 weeks he had a major bed sore coming in that they required to change the dressing on three times a day. He was taken to the emergency room from their facility and come to find out he was sepsis and encompass left a piece of gauze so deep in the sore for days that it became infected. They expected him to do therapy with a 5 inch x 2.5 deep. They were supposed to discharge him day after today because he wasn’t improving. I could only imagine.
