From the moment I walked into the office, I felt comfortable and welcomed. The office space itself was beautiful, calming, and very zen, which immediately helped ease my nerves. The front desk receptionist was incredibly attentive from check-in all the way through check-out. She was patient, knowledgeable, and took the time to thoroughly answer all of my insurance questions as well as explain the next steps for my follow-up appointment. I've seen Dr. Kasem twice now, once for a root canal and again for a consultation. Both experiences were great. I've been to both his Clearwater and Tampa offices, and everyone has been friendly and professional. I'm pretty nervous when it comes to dental work, but Dr. Kasem and his assistant did an amazing job making me feel comfortable. They made sure I was completely numb before starting and even gave me goggles so I could watch 50 First Dates during the procedure, which was a great distraction! Great consultation experience with Dr. Decandia as I did not need anything done and they didn’t try to say I did. He was thorough as well and very clear in his communication and caring about me as a patient. The only reason for the 4 star is the initial wait to get to the back, and then once I was in the chair and the assistant finished her part, I had to wait a very long time. The technicians the front office were fabulous and very, very helpful. They kept me very calm. The doctor was amazing and he was very very careful with me and I appreciate that so much. He’s the bomb.
