From there, he moved to Erie, Pennsylvania, for medical school, Lehigh Valley for his surgical residency, and then to Lemoore, California, for active duty at the Navy’s West Coast Master Jet Base. After transitioning to civilian life, he and his family settled in Wenatchee, Washington, where he practiced for six years before joining Ogden Clinic.
