She was very helpful and compassionate. I was able to get stabilized. She knew exactly what I needed and listened to me. I recommend her for all psychiatric needs.

Dr. Pizarro is very nice during visits and seemed focused on solving my problems, but I felt like I was simply being pushed out of the door with a new prescription in hand every time. I was seeing her for mood stabilization, and while I was taking the drug, she was not responsive to refill requests, leaving me to go multiple days without stabilizers. I eventually gave up on medication and tapered myself off with no assistance. Would not recommend going to her unless your needs are very simple

During times of my worst medication side effects she was not reachable at all via phone or email. No follow up to get back to me. She agreed to write an ESA letter on my last visit and nothing was sent my way. When I followed up with Mindpath they said they'd pass the message along but I received nothing new.

she is great, but the office staff at community psychiatry is horrible. There is a certain demeanor that should be considered for working with people who suffer from mental health issues. The receptionists who gather and give information over the phone DO NOT have it.
