I have been with Extra Space Storage since October last year and NO I don't agree with the rise in price from 4 months to 6 months, it is ridiculous. Allen has adjusted my rent twice since I have been there. The ONLY reasons why I give them an 5 star is because of Allen. Allen seems to be very concern when you think about moving out because of the increase in rent. He will try his best to help reduce the cost to satisfy the customer. The local property manager did a review of my account & was able to lower my rate back down closer to the original m2m pricing. I was told they can do this review upon request once every 6-9 months. I'm thankful they were able to help lower closer to the first 3 months.

I needed a storage unit after my mom died, so I could secure her household items until I was able to decide what to do with them. Not only was this a great online deal, the communication and customer service has been top notch so far! The unit feels secure, it was clean and relatively easy to access. Highly recommend.

Not at all happy with this place after being here 1.5 years. Every 6 months, they try to raise the monthly rent by at least 30% with 30 days notice. They have done this three times to me now. The lights are motion activated and on a timer, so when I am in my unit all of a sudden the lights cut out when I am waist deep in boxes and can not safely make it back to the hallways to reactivate the lights.
