I liked the original owners of the location—56 Self Storage—but then Extra Space Storage bought them out. Extra Space immediately fired the old staff and then DOUBLED the rates for the units. On top of that, six months later they announce they are doing renovations and proceed to kick out everyone out. (So glad I get to reap the benefits of those doubled rates…) Don’t worry, though, they did offer me a $200 voucher for “moving expenses,” but refused to give me a prorated rate for the month, despite me moving my stuff out two... read more
