This is a great storage service to utilize if you're in a pinch. However, while I was loading my belongings into my unit, I faced difficulties getting the elevator to operate correctly. Thankfully, I talked to staff, and he walked me through the protocol. Thank you guys!

I've rented a unit with this location for many years, dating to its first opening as a Public Storage facility. Have generally had a quite positive experience here. Particularly since the changeover to Extra Space Storage franchise. Staff and service are good when we've needed them. Rates going up a bit for our unit would be the only negative. First things first, Yelp! has this as a *GATED* facility - it is NOT GATED! There's a code to get into the building but no gate to drive into the parking lot or anything. TLDR; I DO NOT recommend. According to the employee I spoke with, "homeless people steal everything and live in the units." They even have post it's just sitting around their computers (in full view of their customers) with police Case ID's for various issues such as break-ins. That was the last straw for me... Our unit, as well one other, was burglarized. There was a nice employee there to help us, but apparently the manager couldn't be bothered enough to be there on a day when customers would obviously have questions. Apparently there was an unsecured door that likely has been broken for some time. I guess it was more important to wait for a "bid" rather than prioritizing the belongings of the customers. It seems like whoever got into the unit crawled over the top due to the large gap between the top of the door and the ceiling. ... read more
