We’ve been renting a storage unit from Extra Space for almost a year and have had a good experience with them! They are kind and helpful and responsive, and are fair in their pricing. Terri was super helpful today in helping me figure out my move-out and final payment. If you need a storage unit, they’re a great way to go!
Clean, safe, monitored by cameras. Teri and the other woman in the office are amazing and do their very best to accommodate you and give excellent customer service. My downside is the companies financial policy. It was such a a great deal moving in it fit my budget (I'm 72 on a fixed income) but a few months later...bang you're hit with a $60 increase in rent. 😳 Then when I left, I was there for only 1 week into the month, they couldn't prorate my rent. Terrible experience. Started out at a reasonable price for 4 months, then went up $100 for 6 months then went up $100 again! I was told it is to keep up with demand but that is BS, they are just greedy. I was able to move to a different location with a much better company for cheaper and it is an even bigger unit! They do not up the price unless absolutely necessary for their own costs. Tenants have been paying the same price for years. They treat their customers like family unlike Extra Space Storage. I was in a rush to leave my storage unit and failed to slide the metal clasp all the way in and put my lock on it. Unfortunately the lock was not properly in place because the lock holes were not lined up. I received a phone call from Extra Space Storage informing me of my error. I am so thankful at the attention to detail provided by Extra Space Storage for looking out for my property.
Great customer service from a gentleman named Steve. He was knowledgeable about the lease, insurance, security, and monthly billing. He told me what I would receive in my email and what I would see in my lease and what was my next steps after I received my lease. Very patient with all my questions. Overall a great experience.
