I made my reservation online for a storage unit. Ralph contacted me within the hour to verify the dates I'd like to move in, the process and to give me information on the property. When I arrived he gave me a tour of the unit I reserved. He was very upbeat, friendly, and extremely thorough. He literally answered all my unasked questions which was awesome. Had my stuff stashed for a few months in a mini locker. The lockers were wood, not metal like in other locations, but in the end everything worked out without any incidents. Staff was pleasant.

Anyone looking for storage DO NOT go to Life Storage at 1099 S. Congress where Raveen is the so called manager. TERRIBLE attitude, unprofessional, rude, and just plain not nice. We went there to store our travel trailer that we just purchased and was asked for a title. We did not have one since we just purchased. Copied from the letter required to terminate my Rental Agreement (this is just five days after I rented a storage unit): Per the terms of the Rental Agreement, I am notifying Store Manager Brittney Watt in writing that I will be vacating Space #6929 on April 9, 2022. I will remove the lock and leave the unit in "broom-swept" condition, after which I will take a video as proof. I was looking for storage to park my motorcycle. I called in to ask some questions and that was not a Pleasant Conversation. She wanted to have her questions answered before she would answered any of mine. If you don't want to be talked down too, don't called these people. I work hard for my money like every one else and life is to short to take that nonsense. I'm taking my business elsewhere.

Manager Brittney is EXTREMELY hostile and rude. Aggressive and obnoxious is an understatement. I was called in because someone had broken into my unit by way of cutting the lock off and was met with Brittney being extremely rude before she even said hello the conversation escalated to a place where it definitely did not need to go extremely fast! Oh man! Short term memory at this joint. Couple years ago someone broke in and stole stuff out of my trailer. I thought OK my bad I'll secure better. About a year after that, someone breaks in a mop in Chicago I got a phone call my truck looks like someone was disturbed trying to steal it in my trailer. After a bit of a run around with management, I ultimately was credited the rest of my storage rental that I paid for the remainder of the month.
