Extra Space should invest in Customer Service training. The business practices are deceptive. I would not recommend renting there unless you want to be bullied, hung up on, and have an overall bad experience. The facility is good even though when I first rented a unit, days later there was water coming from under my door so I had to quickly move to another unit. How on earth do these people hire employees with attitude. I showed up to put some of my items in storage and the carts had locks. Which means it's not a good thing. I asked the girl at the front desk about the locks on the carts and she got an attitude. She said that I was there to rent a storage space not to make a big deal about the locked carts. Rented a unit at what appeared to be a great rate only to have my rent almost DOUBLE after my 3rd month?? customer service and management is non-existent so they leave their staff to have to try and rationalize that on PAGE 3 of the contract (?) it states that they can increase the rent at anytime with a 30day notice.
