Great staff and facilities. Easy in and out. Very clean and they even have carts available to help move your stuff.

I had to move out of my apartment last minute and Carla helped me get my storage unit! She was so, SO sweet and helpful! She and I could be BFFs. It was a super easy process and it was a reasonable price. A very pleasant experience.

I went here to unload somethings out of my storage . I haven't been there in nearly a year , and had lost my key to my unit . Marcus I believe was his name . The attendant on duty . He was extremely helpful , I appreciate his efforts to assist me . Great customer service THANK YOU for the additional effort , which is very rare these days .
Extra Space Storage is a standout choice for storage space in the Irmo area. In addition to being conveniently located near the intersection of Harbison Blvd and St. Andrews, it is climate-controlled, clean, secure, and offers great service. . We had a recent situation where hands-on help was needed and we received outstanding service from Chris Darden (District Team Lead). We don't hesitate to recommend it to friends and relatives.
Mom had 30k+ in antiques damaged because their "climate controlled" system does not take humidity out of the air. It was a hot day in September and had just rained yet it was more humid inside than outside. Everything felt wet to the touch. AND WAS COVERED IN WHITE MOLD. Who really needs a their great grandmother's 130 year old mahogany dining room table anyway? Would've done better to put a tarp over it in the side yard.
I had a terrible experience with Jennifer and Amanda at this particular store. They made my stressful move from out of state even more stressful. They had zero communication with each other and I was told one thing over the phone, twice, and that I was secured and all set, and then when I got there there was in fact no unit at all. I was extremely disappointmented and left stranded to find another place asap as my 16 foot moving truck was waiting to be unloaded.
