We had a 10x10 unit at Extra Space Storage for several months. We loved the unit, the location and features. However, out of the blue, they raised our rates 70% overnight!! When we called and questioned this they said “you should have read your email, we notified you of the increase”. Not sure how notifying me makes it any better. We were financially encouraged to look elsewhere for our storage options. Had the price stayed reasonable we would have gladly stayed.

Awesome storage unit facility. Reasonable rates and the building is always very clean and taken care of. The front desk staff is helpful and honest. They even provide dollies and flat bed carts to help move your things in and out. Some tips: pay ahead of time for as long (or longer) as you plan to use the unit. Prices go up every 3-4 months and paying ahead of time locks in a lower rate. Also be careful not to forget your phone inside the storage unit. I just wanted share my experience that I had when I went shopping around for a storage unit. I had a great experience at extra space storage. Their staff I dealt with named Simone was very knowledgeable and very helpful in making sure I chose the right unit and the correct plan for what I needed it for exactly. I would highly recommend using this place if you need a storage unit and are looking for high quality customer service.
