I had an exceptional experience at this storage facility! The space is clean, secure, and well-maintained, but what really made my experience stand out was the incredible customer service provided by Amanda, the store manager. Amanda was great! She walked me around the units to make sure I got the size I needed and then when I came back a week later to officially rent the unit she remembered me by name. The process was fast and easy!
I moved in about two weeks ago and the experience was simply fantastic because of Amanda, the store manager. I decided to move my property after we chatted for a bit and her professionalism and personality won me over to move all my property over to Extra Space. This is a brand new facility with great prices and great customer service. As a matter of fact, while I was moving in I failed to properly lock my unit, and within 45 minutes of leaving Amanda called and told me my unit was not locked. I’ve had a great experience with the management at the Macomb, MI facility. My initial contact was with Mike who followed-up with my online application within minutes of submitting it. He was very helpful and friendly when I asked to come in to look at my spaces. The next day I came back to show my wife around when I meet Amanda who was equally friendly and helpful. Thank you for making this so smooth for us !!
For a brand new facility, I am highly unimpressed. Prepare to sweat, get dirty, and spend more time than you think! -The unit floor was covered in dirt that got all over my things and clothes. - The temperature was 77 degrees, and I was told they keep it at 80 in the summer and 55 in the winter. This is NOT climate controlled. -I’ve been up to my unit twice and BOTH times the elevator broke down while I was in it and the elevator became inoperable for the rest of the night.
