I had an awesome experience with Extra Space Storage Round Lake Beach location. I setup my account online and received immediate response and access to the unit. The unit was clean and easy to access and locate when I entered the gate with the code I was provided. The price I received is great it was the best I found when I was looking for a new facility.
We’ve had our storage unit since April 2023 when this location was owned by Metro Storage and were always completely satisfied. Our rates only increased twice in those two years, once after our promotional rate ended and the second time in 2024 and it only increased $25. Now that Extra Space owns the location we got a notice stating that our rate would be increasing $80. We attempted to call and try to get this situated and they agreed to only increase our rate $54 (will be paying $228 for a 10x10 unit, was going to be $254)... read more
Theo & Kari were absolutely wonderful and very knowledgeable. Probably the best customer service I’ve had. I highly recommend taking your business to them.
Customer support people were amazing. Facility is clean and orderly extra space doesn’t get my fifth star because there’s no discount for multiple units. I parked my boat there and have a Storage unit but I have to pay full price for both.
