Manny the manager is THE BEST. This facility is GREAT and we looked at several for our needs. 1) It is CLIMATE CONTROLLED 2) ALL UNITS = FIRST FLOOR - it’s a giant warehouse filled with storage spaces with no elevators involved. Most guaranteed first floor units are drive ups that are not climate controlled, or at other extra space locations, the first floor is usually quite a bit more expensive for the convenience. We met with Uniquekwa Burrowes ( store manager) today while shopping for storage units. What a delightful experience. She was so transparent about costs, services and storage spaces. She made the process super easy and straightforward. Her pleasant disposition and friendly demeanor was an added bonus. We highly recommend working with her for your storage needs.
I came in earlier this week and even though there wasn’t any parking available at this location, Uniquekwa went above and beyond to help me. She actually reserved me a space at a nearby sister site so I wouldn’t be stuck. She was so professional, articulate, and explained everything clearly. On top of that, she had such a warm personality and carried herself beautifully. I left feeling truly taken care of. Thank you, Uniquekwa!
My experience since the Extra Storage buyout hasn't been the best HOWEVER Manny at the W Hillsborough Ave location has made up for the issues. He's not only knowledgeable but made me feel heard and respected as a woman. I wish every single interaction I had with a male customer service agent was as easy. He got me into a new unit with ease. Thank you!!!!
Been here at this location for over 5 years and it's a breath of fresh air to have Uniquekwa here. Very friendly and professional. She's always checking to make sure everything is okay.
