Manny the manager is THE BEST. This facility is GREAT and we looked at several for our needs. 1) It is CLIMATE CONTROLLED 2) ALL UNITS = FIRST FLOOR - it’s a giant warehouse filled with storage spaces with no elevators involved. Most guaranteed first floor units are drive ups that are not climate controlled, or at other extra space locations, the first floor is usually quite a bit more expensive for the convenience. I came in earlier this week and even though there wasn’t any parking available at this location, Uniquekwa went above and beyond to help me. She actually reserved me a space at a nearby sister site so I wouldn’t be stuck. She was so professional, articulate, and explained everything clearly. On top of that, she had such a warm personality and carried herself beautifully. I left feeling truly taken care of. Thank you, Uniquekwa!
This location has a great staff and is super accessible. I wish more storage facilities had loading docks. Manny, the Manager, goes out of his way to help resolve anything that comes up and he does it with a smile! 10/10 definitely recommend.
My experience since the Extra Storage buyout hasn't been the best HOWEVER Manny at the W Hillsborough Ave location has made up for the issues. He's not only knowledgeable but made me feel heard and respected as a woman. I wish every single interaction I had with a male customer service agent was as easy. He got me into a new unit with ease. Thank you!!!!
The nice staff and clean building is the reason for the generous amount of stars. However how insulting it is to see on my app that my rent went from $88 to $166 on one unit and from $163 to $246 on the other. For what? My last payment is being made and im out. I have been getting emails for the last 6 months about my units. But conveniently i was told they mailed me a letter about the increase. So if practices like this are ok with you, by all means this is the place for you!
