Extra Space Storage is fantastic. After finding them on Google Maps and making a quick reservation on their website, I received a call just about 30 minutes later from Isaac, the property manager. He took my information and had me completely set up to get my lock and move in within the hour. The entire process was incredibly fast and efficient—I was so impressed with how easy it was. I would highly recommend them!
I've had two negative experiences with extra space storage related to shady pricing. At the first location, they changed my rate by $90 after only being in the unit for 3 months and then I moved to a different independent location to resolve. Then within two months, extra space acquired them, and after being told at signing that the rate would not increase for at least 6 months, it almost doubled after only 4 months. The facility is SUPER Clean, appears to be well managed; plenty of space to maneuver a good size moving van; plenty of surveillance cameras; as such, place appears safe. As far as rental rates are concerned, a 10'X20'X10' rents for about $150 per month. The managers appeared to be nice/friendly; they gave me a free bottle of water. My experience w/this business is very limited; as, my only contact involved helping a friend move her stuff out of storage into a in new apt. Hope this was helpful
Issac the manager is super nice and accommodating. Made the whole process quick and easy and was happy to answer my many questions beforehand. Highly recommend Isaac and extra space if you need a storage unit in Austin!
A+ service and Care! Have been renting for a while, when was formerly Watson & Taylor- (loved the folks running it then) - and was sad to see it change over but since the change, the new manager Isaac is awesome! Friendly, professional and super helpful through this switch over process. Will definitely keep renting here!
