Renter beware! This storage service location in Walnut Creek has taken a bad turn since ESS company took over a formerly fair local independent business. Extra Space serves as property manager at this location apparently. Reseach other options. Issues: PRICING GAMES and Greed Their Price hikes are frequent and high. They send little card notices with minimal disclosure hoping you don't pay attention. Increases are 20+% at a time. PESTS: Indoor units have had moth infestations for over a year. Seen no effort to resolve.

The facility itself has been fine, but it recently sold to ESS and now they have raised rates very aggressively. 50% for our unit. Buyer beware.

Renter beware!! Cockroaches and Rats are in my unit. I have been at this facility since June of this year, using this space for my Vintage business. Last week I found a 3" dead cockroach in my unit and advised the on site manager. Even she was surprised at how big it was. She advised I spray all the edges of my unit with bug spray. I moved all my containers to sweep and spray the cockroach poison. After sweeping I found at least #20 pieces of rat poo.
