Since moving to San Antonio, I've had to find and establish care with new doctors, and I'm so glad I chose this office for my eye care. Since I started working from home, I thought it would be a good idea to get my eyes checked again, and I'm really happy I chose this office out of all the options available. The two girls at the front desk were super, super nice, friendly, and helpful. These people were amazing. Amy was very helpful getting me in and out of the office. The Doctor did great fixing an issue with my previous doctor had screwed up by over correcting. Will definitely recommend them and keep coming back.
Eye Theory is a newly opened and locally owned optometrist office in Stone Oak. The location is beautifully designed and decorated, so you know you're gonna get that aesthetic feeling when trying on frames. Dr. Nancherla and his staff were incredible and down to earth, yet professional. I can't wait to pick up my new glasses soon!
I was seen at the ER last evening and was told that I needed to see an ophthalmologist ASAP since I had developed shingles near my eye. The ER dr. warned that this could be very dangerous because of its location. After we talked she recommended I call Dr. Nancherla and ask if he could possibly squeeze me in, due to the serious nature of my eyes condition. I'm 53. I went in w/a bacterial eye infection. I know when I make a careless move, especially because I have pets, i clean litter boxes and every so often its possible for me to get a bacterial infection. i know what has worked for me in the past. The optometrist prescribed a steroid when I told him I needed an antibiotic. I told him I was going out of town for 7 days. I told him i don't do steroid..but then he said he won't give me an antibiotic. So i had no choice so he gave me a prescription blend of steroid /antibiotics ... read more

In my years of experience, I have encountered many bacterial eye infections, viral eye infections and allergies.
