Excellent botanical garden with a wide variety of plants and a very walkable layout. The staff were friendly and very knowledgeable. The butterfly garden for international species was very well done. There is a guided tram tour you can take that will show you the highlights. Overall it's an excellent place to spend the day enjoying nature, highly recommended.
Many tourists miss out on some of the most beautiful areas of Miami. Fairchild Tropical gardens is one of those absolutely beautiful gems Miami has. Driving to it you will go thru a canopy of Hugh Banyan trees which is an introduction to what you are about to experience. Very impressive gardens with plenty of parking and beautiful vistas. Great 1/2 day visit option and perfect for weddings and gatherings. Extensive property. Five google stars and four clams on the coveted Five Quahog Rating Scale.
We had an amazing time. I haven't been back here since elementary school now i get to take my son. Beautiful scenery to take pictures or have a wedding. Lovely place to just walk around and be one with nature. My family and I really enjoyed it. Made a regular Saturday an enjoyable one 🌸🐊🦜🦋 And if you have SNAP, you get discounted tickets 😊
