The gardens were absolutely beautiful. I love rare plants, and there were tons of them all over the gardens. I recommend at least 3 hours to explore the curated gardens. We only had 2, and missed the butterfly conservatory, and I didn't get to spend as much time in certain areas of interest as I would have liked. They also have nature trails that we did not have the opportunity to visit, due to our timing. I would gladly return, although it is a bit pricey, so keep that in mind for a visit. If you like plants of all kinds this is the place. Very well maintained. Beautiful flowers and greenery everywhere you look from all over. It's very big so plan on about 4 hours or more. Lots of butterflies.
I cant stop talking about this place!! It is so peaceful and the staff is awesome!! My favorite spot is the Tropical Rainforest. THE BEST!! The gardens are beautiful and covered pathways keep the sun from burning you up. I was here visiting and stopped by 2 times!! I will be back for sure.
A place that gently forces you to slow down — unforgettable Fairchild Botanical Garden is truly an experience, not just a place to visit. As soon as you arrive, there’s little to no phone service — and honestly, that felt intentional in the best way. This is a space meant to be experienced. As a Fairchild Gardens member, I love coming here at different times of the year. Every season feels a little different, which makes each visit special. We really enjoy the orchids, the little rainforest, and the butterfly garden, which is always fun. Stopping by the café is always a good idea, and my daughter and I also get great photos here. It’s my favorite place to take a peaceful walk, disconnect, and just enjoy the beauty around me.
