Planned a last minute trip for the weekend of July 4. Needed a dog-friendly place, and hotels with such accommodations are typically disgusting. Stumbled upon this place and couldn’t be happier. Stayed in one of the cottages which was very clean and had everything we needed for a weekend visit. Social events were scheduled for each day, and the staff were extremely polite, welcoming, and helpful. Community members were very engaging and made you feel at home. I left a previous review but as we continued to stay here we learned just how much more we loved this campground. While staying here my kids and I were involved in a accident "no fault to the campground " but yet that have took such good care of us. I cant explain how well we have been treated. The mangers here have took my kids in and cared for them like their own while I have been down with a broken bone as well as my 12 year old . We rented a cottage for Father's Day weekend! The campground was clean and quite. The staff were very nice and easy to talk to. The dad-focused activities were so much fun, especially the poker run! The cottage had everything that you could need to a weekend stay. We will definitely be back!
Myself and my boyfriends Aunt booked a 2 bedroom cabin and when we showed up they told us it wasn't available for us because it had catastrophic damage that they found that morning after the last people left. They were fantastic and did everything they could to find a place for us to stay for the week and gave us many options which most didnt work, but in the end they were able to get us both our own small cabin which was awesome as we drove 16 hours from Massachusetts. We just checked in, so I’m writing this review based solely on the check-in process. Mind you - it is 1:00am. I don’t know that we’ve ever checked in to a place when the staff is actually working- we tend to dilly dally around so much that our fate has been set; we will always check in after hours. All that to say- as we approach an RV camp site, I’m dreading what kind of fresh hell we are about to discover. This one pleasantly surprised me.
