This company has a process where they must verify the checks they issue before you can deposit them into a First Source account. This is NOT something anyone bothers to mention before or at the time of closing. If you’re okay with being issued a check that you cannot deposit until it is convenient for them, they’re great! If you expect to deposit a check written out to you when you show up at a bank during their open hours, not so much. My experience was not pleasant. As the seller of a property you are at the mercy of the buyer as to which title company does the closing. I'm not certain why the people that work on this off are so unfriendly, but they are. If you are set to close with this company be prepared for a rude greeting and sharp tones the entire time you are there.
