Had a great experience with the Fidelity National Title office in Davis on a recent first-time buyer transaction. Liz Rodriguez handled escrow and made the whole process feel easy. Communication was always timely and closing was smooth from start to finish. Nick Ellsworth and his team clearly take pride in getting the details right and keeping things running smoothly. Highly recommend this office.
Representative was flakey. Poor communication. Did not explain process or give advanced notice when key payments were due. Did not respond to my emails, then brought up same subject day before close of escrow. Ignored a key item we requested to omit in a document, that we caught in the fine print ourselves later. Worst of all is when I contacted management to give feedback on these issues they didn’t really seem to want to own them. Next time I need a title company I would not choose to use Fidelity National.
