As the listing agent, I had to go with buyer to choose Lena Signor as the escrow officer. I have to tell you that I had the worst experience with Lena Signor during my transaction. At first, I asked her to order HOA disclosure package for my client. No response or confirmation from her for 7 days. With my repeated request, she emailed me back saying she ordered it. While Fidelity is a fine organization this office has problems. Lorene Barker is the among the worst “professionals” I have encountered in any industry. Condescending, sarcastic and rude. Stay away from at all costs. Regardless of whatever response she may provide here please do not subject yourself to her impertinence. Somewhere along the line she forgot that I am the one paying her fee. Three of us had the same type of encounter.
Sallie was my escrow agent, but the asst yvette was my main contact. Did not appreciate paying 2 months of hoa in my mortgage to hear that they never followed through on informing my hoa that I now own the place. So no paperwork nor payment was given to my hoa for more than 2 months and its all the usps's fault. Also, they sent me a check to an address that I had no access to for a month. They had my cell number from the moment I started escrow....why not call or email before sending anything? If course this is also the faul... read more
