First Steps Recovery is a super solid program! I am a program director of a local detox and residential treatment center a few cities over, Roseville Recovery, and had the pleasure of coming out to meet Nick Fogle and some of the other staff at First Steps. Beautiful residential facility in the quiet hills of Shingle Springs with top tier staff that care about their clients and their path to recovery! Along with a fantastic new outpatient facility in El Dorado Hills again with a strong clinical staff that ensure the best possible treatment for all their clients. This is a program you can truly believe in and live up to what they say they do. I would recommend First Steps to any family or friends that may be struggling.
First steps Recovery program truly changed my life and saved me. The staff and directors of the program truly care for people here and give every tool necessary to succeed and manage addiction. The rest of the work is up to you! Want it for yourself and everyone around you. The bonds created here are ones I will remember forever. I would highly recommend this place for anyone truly seeking sobriety. The Counselors/therapists are amazing, each of them have their own unique fun personalities and teach a little differently, which is nice because everyone has a different way of learning. They put your needs first before curriculum. I learned so much from this place, had I known the experience and outcome I would have had, I would have gotten into this place so much sooner. I can undoubtedly say I would recommend this place for Treament over many other facilities in the region. They truly care about the client experience and true recovery. The leader of this organization is a Mental Health professional, so there is unmatchable leadership for treatment. Their clinical outreach team is amazing
