So, this is part gallery space part active participation in scavenger hunts and mini golf. The minigolf is incorporated throughout the gallery space and sort of hard to follow from one hole to another and u get the club and balls as soon as u walk in. So u are walking around w this stuff the whole time. I would have preferred seeing the gallery and then playing a contiguous course but if your a kid I guess it doesnt matter. Even the minigolf was designed by the artists. The installations were fresh and so clever with some ma... read more
🌟FloridaRAMA is an immersive art experience in St. Pete that clearly lives up to its promise of being very cool and interesting, offering a psychedelic and whimsical exploration of Florida culture and stories. ✨ The Experience: Very Cool and Interesting My photos beautifully capture the unique, neon-drenched, and playful atmosphere of the exhibit: * Vibrant Aesthetics: The use of intense neon and blacklight (like the bright pink window and the mermaid neon sign in the "Motel" area, or the blacklight hallway with glowing pol... read more
Always a blast! I went 3 years ago & came back for Lucy Sparrow’s Quick Shop exhibit. I had an absolute blast peeking around the very expansive collection of food & home products she recreated in felt form. In the end, I got my tried & true Lactaid (if you know you know) & a little salmon filet. So cute! As for Floridarama, we did the mini golf & got the specter glasses to see all the lights different. It was affordable, fun, & great for pictures! Ps. Only suggestion, don’t go in the ball pit. They’re never clean, broke out... read more
I'm happy to have visited and enjoyed the playful art atmosphere, but I can't imagine going back again at full price. I wanted to come because I'm a lover of the strange and weird, but this felt a little superficial. Likely a good trip for a group or for families that are out for a romp. Took about 2 hours to explore without a crowd.
This is a fun date museum but not as great for children (unless you pay $$). We have visited twice in the past 3yrs. For 3 children + 1 military for just admission with no extra (scavenger hunt or putt putt) it was $100! That feels a little pricey for GA. We went through each room/exhibit multiple times but they got bored after 1.5 hours. It is great to enjoy local artists work.
