Flew all the way from SoCal to attend marriage retreat by Focus on the Family. I cannot explain the joy we felt. We were blown away by the experience! The instructors, Andy and Laura Tate were truly professionals and they use their God-given skills to educate and council married couples. The hospitality team, Dick and his wife were the best! My husband and I attended the Winning as a Couple getaway. This was our first Focus on the Family getaway, and it was a great experience. We came into the retreat with some conflicts we wanted to resolve, and we felt very supported through the weekend and achieved a lot of the goals we had set in the first session. Hope Restored with Focus on the Family is a safe haven where you are prayed for before you ever arrive and can truly feel His spirit in this place. My husband and I received powerful tools through the intensive and connected with other struggling couples that provided meaningful connections and support to our marriage. The retreat center is beautifully located in the ozarks or near them. The cabins were very nice with comfortable beds. Food was great, speakers were great! It’s a good marriage tune-up. The 4 day intensive is for heavy counceling but this week end one was a good tune up with great ideas to put into practice.

The facilities And the grounds are very beautiful and so peaceful. It gives you the opportunity to relax and focus on your marriage without outside interruptions. The accommodations are First class, from the cozy, well-kept cottages, To the kindness and hospitality of the staff, to the Amazing food that is served. However, the greatest thing of all is the teaching, guidance and tools provided by the therapists and counselors who inspire hope that even the most difficult marriage challenges can be resolved.
