Flew all the way from SoCal to attend marriage retreat by Focus on the Family. I cannot explain the joy we felt. We were blown away by the experience! The instructors, Andy and Laura Tate were truly professionals and they use their God-given skills to educate and council married couples. The hospitality team, Dick and his wife were the best! My husband and I attended the Winning as a Couple getaway. This was our first Focus on the Family getaway, and it was a great experience. We came into the retreat with some conflicts we wanted to resolve, and we felt very supported through the weekend and achieved a lot of the goals we had set in the first session. Hope Restored with Focus on the Family is a safe haven where you are prayed for before you ever arrive and can truly feel His spirit in this place. My husband and I received powerful tools through the intensive and connected with other struggling couples that provided meaningful connections and support to our marriage. We were so blessed by our Marriage Getaway in Missouri & would highly recommend it to anyone wanting to invest in their marriage! Not only were the facilitators dynamic & the content super helpful, the accommodations were fabulous. The lodging & meals made it feel like a peaceful respite for busy couples like us. I can't recommend the FOTF Weekend Getaway enough! It was the perfect couples' retreat—filled with encouragement, laughter, and practical wisdom shared by Rick and Jenny. We loved getting to know the other couples (including one amazing couple who had been married for 56 years!) and spending intentional, uninterrupted time investing in our marriage.
