I think it is a great school! My sister and I both went there and they have quality education! At other schools like in the city, they do not get taught some of the correct things. Goodland prepares you for thw future and being on your own.
There wasn't a lot of online learning. It is all mainly in person. I think that when it was online, it wasn't very helpful because it is a hands on school.
I loved everything besides my instructor. She made me no longer want to do cosmetology. The student life is good and student government goes well.
My teachers worked well with me to adapt to my work schedule and classes. My math teacher would come in and talk and make time so if I didn’t understand it, I would.
Great campus and surrounding area! If you love the feel of a small, home-like town, this is the college for you! The possibilities are endless.
Northwest Tech is a great place to be. I love the program I am in. There are excellent instructors that will drop everything to help you at any time. The student life is great as well. They are very active and always doing something new every single week. Everyone is great there and I highly recommend the Northwest Kansas Tech Respiratory Therapy Program if you are looking for a great two years of learning and great experiences.
Going to this small college has advantages such as small class sizes and a close knit group of people. Some disadvantages are not much for public transportation, shopping is very limited and 2-3 hours away from a larger city. I do like going there and I have good relationships with my teachers.
Very small school everyone is very friendly. It is all hands on learning. Once you graduate most of the program have a 90% job rate which means ove finished with school you will have a job.
Northwest Kansas Technical College is a school that I love because of how involved the teachers and staff are. At this school you’re guaranteed to learn every single day in class on a daily basis.
