I first went to Froedtert in Somers at the clinic Which told me I needed to go to the emergency room. They called ahead and I pretty much didn’t have to wait that long. Everyone I came in contact with was polite professional some of them were funny. I got a scan and x-rays and back to my room when the doctor came in he went over things with me and wanted one more test which was an EKG. The guy that gave me the EKG was great. The Er experience I had was terrific. Started with the triage nurse who was very friendly and caring. Dr. Zimmerman was very professional, friendly and had an Excellent bedside manner. The whole process went smoothly. Information was explained thoroughly and They make sure I understood what was given. No one likes to go to an ER, but I highly recommend if the need arises that Froedtert South Would be a very good choice.
My nurse Brooke was absolutely horrific! During the IV placement she was not responsive to the amount of pain she was putting me through. Her attitude was not pleasant and I wished she would not have been my nurse. The physician I had, Dave, was amazing! I would recommend him to anyone. He was compassionate, allowed my input about my body for making a plan to go home. He was easy going and a great listener. I really appreciated all of his ideas and help. Great physician.
I went to ER for some medical emergency . I was approached by an unfriendly , no bedside manner by a PA. He barely looked at my wounds and assumed it was nothing and informed me that it’s nothing and will prescribe an antibiotics. No 1- learn how to act a professional healthcare representative , 2. I had the most wonderful care team when I went here! This was my first visit to this ER. From the second I walked in the door everyone of the care team was very welcoming, showed concern, while being very professional! My wait time was maybe an hour, which was a very quick wait time out of other ERs. Each one of the nurses actually listened to what I had to say and knew what I was describing even though I don't think that I fully described my symptoms.
