After dental school John worked as an associate general dentist at Indian River Family Dentistry where he practiced for one year. In 1997, John attended The University of Michigan where he completed an Endodontics Residency in 1999.

I had an amazing experience here. I was nervous going into my first appointment but the staff and Dr.Galsterer made me feel incredibly comfortable and helped me with everything I needed. Dr.Galsterer was so friendly and personable! Would encourage anyone to go here! Clinic was clean and nice.
Wonderful experience with the staff and how timely they did my root canal. If you’re like me and super nervous when it comes to dental procedures please come here for your work. They’ll treat you right and make you feel extremely comfortable and confident with the treatment. 10/10
I'll be the first to admit I never leave reviews, but this office deserves a 10/5 stars. First time ever having a root canal done and I'm extremely grateful I took the hour drive to have it done here. Dr. John is very comforting and keeps you updated every single step of the way. The staff is extremely nice and helpful! They let you know a good estimated cost before your procedure so you're not taken by surprise. I would definitely recommend this office!
I have bad anxiety, and freak myself out for even a basic dental cleaning. I walked in, and every staff person I saw was so friendly. Dr. Galsterer was just as warm and welcoming. He explained everything well, and everything went great! Everything was quick and efficient. He even gave me breaks for my TMJ issues, and I would highly recommend him for a root canal!
I have visited Dr. Galsterer’s office several times over the past five years. I’ve had two root canals and three follow-up appointments for one particular tooth. Each time I’ve been in, I’ve consistently experienced the same level of professionalism and excellent bedside manner from Dr. Galsterer.
