After dental school John worked as an associate general dentist at Indian River Family Dentistry where he practiced for one year. In 1997, John attended The University of Michigan where he completed an Endodontics Residency in 1999.

My first visit and I was a bit nervous about my dentist's findings and the pain I'd had for a few weeks. Dr. Galsterer and his staff were absolutely amazing in every way. They worked together with great precision and efficiency as well as being sensitive and compassionate to my needs as well as the other patients that day. I was extremely impressed by Dr. Galsterer and his team and I highly recommend them!
Didn’t know what to expect because first time getting a root canal, but I can tell you it was a breeze. The staff was very friendly and welcoming and Mr.Galsterer Was very nice. Explain everything to me beautifully and got the job done Quick, no pain all I can say is he was wonderful and I’m glad I was able to go there
Dr. John Galsterer is one the most caring, nurturing, and emotionally intelligent dental medical professionals on this side of heaven! He literally talked me through a deeply rooted angry root canal speaking directly to me to assure that I was doing well. They got me in right away and evaluated what I needed. The doctor was quick to recommend a path forward that didn't include their services but what was in my best interest. They even set up a next day appointment with the oral surgeon. I 10/10 recommend. I will be back!
Root canal went great. Doctor and staff are super friendly and explain every step to make you feel comfortable. I hope I don't ever need another one but if I do I will certainly go here.
