I reached out to Genteel to investigate a running water sound and I’m so glad I did. Joe came the next day and found the problem immediately. He also noticed a few other issues since I recently bought an older Sunset fixer. Joe explained everything so it was easy to understand. I really appreciated the support and hand-holding. Their big thing is they don’t just fix something and disappear. We had them come to update 2 bathroom sink faucets and 1 kitchen faucet and replace a broken disposal. We’ve used Genteel Plumbers multiple times and have always been 100% Satisfied by their work. Their Technicians are professional, highly skilled, efficient and tidy. They have fixed our drains, and replaced our water heater, with long-lasting results. Today, their Tech Joan, who has previously serviced our home, came through and replaced our bathroom faucets, our downstairs shower head, the J-Tube, and the 1/4 turn shutoff valves. In addition, he also replaced an old galvanized piece of steel pipe feeding our cold water to... read more

I had a really good experience with the Genteel Plumbers office as well as my plumber Edgar. 1) The office is very responsive, which I appreciate a lot. It’s very helpful to be able to both text and call with the company when coordinating schedules. 2) The service itself by Edgar was also a no-brainer. He arrived on time and was very quick to fix several of the issues that I had. He worked on my kitchen and bathroom and was only here for about two hours. He did great work, left my place clean, and took the old parts with h... read more

Joan and the Genteel team did an excellent job of replacing the toilet and valves in our Edwardian condo. They were very open about pricing options, on-target for both costs and time, and also very polite and careful. Great work!!!
