Had TURP surgery on Oct. 6 and stayed in hospital overnight by Dr. Stanley. I have not had any pain or problems since getting home. Still waiting to fully recover but am hoping for the best outcome, so far so good. I understand some peoples concerns with telephone contacts but in person staff have been very helpful and friendly.
Doctor Sharp was very straightforward and informative. He explained everything in simple terms and answered questions in a way that was clear and understandable. He was honest about cost and insurance issues. I would recommend that if anyone was considering procedures dealing with the prostate they arrange an interview with him. If they do they will be very pleased with the outcome.
I just love Dr. Sharpe!! In the 4 years that I have seen Dr. Sharpe I have had a good repore with him. I haven't always liked what he has had to say but I understand his reasoning and why. I wouldn't go anywhere else and brag about him any chance I get. My time to be seeing him will probably be coming to a close for a while, I hope that perhaps in the future that I will be able to pick back up with him again. Please get a new phone system and please have another office in Murphy.......🙂
Wonderful staff who are eager to help any way they can. They, like Dr. Stanly, have a wonderful bedside manner. Dr Stanly is a great guy as well as great doctor. He's always very positive and has a smile on his face. This is the second procedure I've had with him, and both times have been a success and a positive experience in every way.
I was diagnosed with bladder cancer in 2003. I have had two surgeries and been in treatment since. Dr David Stanley is a wonderful doctor and genuinely cares about his patients. I see the comments on here and have never had a problem calling the office or getting through to the office. I have used their kidney stone hotline and was informed where to go, who to ask for and which service was provided. This is a first class operation.
