Do not move here, my family has been constantly harassed by a neighbor downstairs for about 2 1/2 months now and nothing has been done. I have a 3 year old son and if he runs slightly even for a minute or two this lady downstairs calls authorities. I have shared my concerns with McKinley properties to no avail. This woman has even gone as far as to lie to authorities and tell them that she knocked on the ceiling and we stomped back. We like it, but parking is awful and it’s too expensive for the issues you deal with. The staff have changed a lot but I think they’re getting better. There was a fire recently, no letter to the residents or explanation to why, but the folks in the first floor apartments assume it has to do with someone using a space heater cause the first floor is always freezing. I have been living here for more than 8 months. Its super expensive. We are paying the amount expecting that In-unit lundry service is functional. For more than 2 months the Laundry service is not functional. Neither maintainance nor the management pays attention to any of the issues seriously. In absence of proper maintenance, I don't think it's worth to pay such high price for the units.
The worst place to live. Took them s year to fix my blinds. My oven went out and i put in a work order 3 times for them to come fix it. They stated that the work order was completed and no one ever came to my house. This place is a absolute joke!
The office staff is very confrontational. They don’t communicate within the office staff at all, and the staff rotates constantly. They don’t enforce the rules on their lease, and get extremely irritable if you try to hold them accountable. They insist Great Lakes Security patrols here, but when we called GLS about a problem, they had trouble even finding the Oaks property. This isn’t an honest company, take your money elsewhere!
