Great experience from a not so good situation. I am not a person to write reviews and I normally hate the dentist. My experience was wonderful, from the minute I walk in the door to the minute I left. The person I met at the desk helped me to get in immediately. The dental assistant was absolutely great. The dentist was very patient with me; he let me take my time. I did not feel pressured at all. Easy set up of follow up appointments.
No clear communication. Very short and rushed. I've been dealing with pain in my mouth and went in last week to ask them to take a look. DR. ELDIK said I needed fillings and made me wait a week for that appointment all the while dealing with the pain. Today I went in and without so much as an explanation, he looked at my old X-rays and said I'd need a root canal and referred me elsewhere. Let’s just start with I have a huge fear of dentist, I went to get a cleaning done by Johanna and she was absolutely terrific! She is such a kind and gentle soul! She is very patient and she kept Ensuring me that I am in control I can tell her to stop at any time. She was very effective with the cleaning. She also made me feel like all her focus and attention was on me and my needs. This is the worst dental office EVER! All they are interested in is selling implants. Twice they refused to do a simple extraction without padding the bill w/ implant nonsense. Today they wanted $1300 cash despite the fact that the extraction is covered by insurance. Last week, I was kept waiting for over an hour while the oral surgeon was walking the office trying to sell other clients implants. They charged me $27 for "consultation fee" which was a 2 minute video on implants. ALSO-THE OFFICE IS FILTHY!!!
The front desk is terrible. Every time I call they have an attitude and never display a sense of care or compassion. I ask questions and half the time they don’t know the answer to it or don’t bother asking the doctor. I booked a regular cleaning and waited about 6 months. A day before my appointment they call asking if I can come in earlier and when I said I couldn’t they couldn’t accommodate with me (the patient who waited 5-6 months for this appt).
