I had a wonderful experience at Great Expressions in East Rockaway. The entire staff was friendly, welcoming, and professional from the moment I walked in. They made me feel comfortable and took the time to answer all of my questions. Both the dentist and the periodontist were knowledgeable, gentle, and thorough. Came here for a cleaning! Hygienist is amazing! She was friendly, professional, and very thorough. Best cleaning I ever head. She also gave great recommendations on products and treatments to help keep my teeth healthy, went over insurance coverage with front desk/insurance handlers and me before proceeding with treatment. I highly appreciated that. She made the whole experience comfortable and stress-free. Highly recommend!
Dental hygienist Riya is especially nice which I noticed my initial visit for deep cleaning/root scaling and definitely noticed the same in my second visit. She takes special care and is super understanding, knowledgeable, professional and considerate. The dental assistant, young man and young lady (I didn’t get their names) at the front desk are very respectful and pleasant as well.
The wait time is horrible. I went in and the girl at the front desk was answering phones. I waited patiently. Not once did she acknowledge me. She kept answering the calls so I finally go can I sign in?? She goes its lunch time, we can sign you in at 2pm. Like Hello- could you have said that to me when I walked in instead of ignoring me?? Teach your staff some manners.
I visited this office for an extraction and left disappointed with the overall experience. Before the procedure, I had a question for the periodontist regarding a proposed treatment plan involving the extraction of 3–4 teeth. A dental assistant told me that asking the doctor my question would require a separate consultation fee of $275. I declined.
