We arrived an hour early (because of other appointments earlier that day) only to be seen 20 minutes after the scheduled time. Both my kids claimed that they sat in the chair watching the Lion King for a majority of the visit. The actual cleaning was a hurried affair that my son described as a quick swipe across the teeth. My daughter’s story was similar. No flossing and she got more fluoride on her lips and tongue than her teeth. We are officially shopping for a new dentist.
Have been there a few times with my son. The first time we were there for almost 5 hours on a school day. When we questioned why it was taking so long we were told, by the receptionist, that the doctor likes to be overly thorough. 5 hours for a procedure that took 45 minutes at our previous dentist where we used to live. Today, we took him back to get a crown and my wife reminded them of the terrible wait time before and they forgot we were in the reception area. Today was our first visit to this pediatric dentist and it was nothing short of amazing! Valerie and Dr. Maria were compassionate with our 3 and 5 year old and made the entire experience worth writing about! Valerie helped us sort out insurance confusion and thoroughly cleaned our older son’s teeth in no time while making him feel comfortable and at ease. You guys did a absolutely wonderful job!!! The wait was practically nonexistent, we were practically seen the secind we sat down! The employees are nothing but nice and kind and the numbing on my teeth was flawless! Didnt feel a thing!
Very great experience they were fast and helped people with bad gag reflexes(me) and if you couldn't to the x-ray where they put a small thing in your mouth they go to a bigger one that's way better. Also if your gag reflex was very bad while doing the toothbrushing they would have to make you do it since you actually know more where your teeth are. During the check up they put a video up to relax you and to stop you from stressing out.
