Very disappointed with Great Expressions Dental. This is not the first time they have rescheduled my daughter’s appointment at the last minute. Today, when I arrived, they told me they had called me. I received no voicemail, no text message, no missed call. Because of this, my daughter missed school for nothing. This is a waste of time, effort, and planning, especially for parents. I absolutely regret ever going to this dental clinic!! And recommend NO ONE TO EVER GO HERE! I showed up today with my son because one of his fillings came out that they put in and the dentist flat out, accused me of not brushing his teeth when I brush my son‘s teeth twice a day and floss twice a day. I tried to explain it and she got really nasty and refused treatment, even though he’s in EXTREME PAIN! refused to do the filling because she thinks that I don’t brush my son‘s teeth! We brought my son (Davydov Dmytro) to this office after being clearly told at a previous visit that he would be getting a bite plate. The doctor even showed it to us on the screen. At today’s appointment, no one told us that the treatment plan had changed. We fully believed we were coming in for a simple impression so the bite plate could be made. After my wife posted her review, the office called back. Instead of handling the situation professionally, the dentist spoke in a blaming and disrespectful manner, making hurtful comments about our daughter’s cavities and placing responsibility on us. As a parent, I was shocked by the way my wife was spoken to. This is not acceptable, especially when discussing a child’s health. I got my braces taken off about two years ago and had a great experience. I had to go back today because my bottom retainer broke in half (my fault). I called first thing in the morning, they said come right in and if I came back later around 4, they’d have it done same day. Great, amazing, no problem. But when I finished the impressions, they told me if I waited about 30 minutes they’d just get it done now. Um, AWESOME!
