Dr. Basam Shamo was truly incredible with my daughter. From the moment he walked in, he spoke to her with such kindness and patience, and made a situation that could have been scary feel calm and safe for her. He took the time to distract her from the “scary stuff,” explained things in a gentle, kid-friendly way, and constantly checked in to make sure she was comfortable. Great Expressions in Southfield has been amazing both times I’ve gone. The staff is always welcoming and kind. Dr. A and her assistant did my fillings, and they were extremely gentle, professional, and made me feel comfortable the whole time. I truly appreciate how respectful and patient they were with me. If you’re looking for a great dental office, I highly recommend this location at the corner of Lahser and 9 Mile. They do a great job with both children and adults.
We’ve been with Grest Expressions since we relocated about five years ago and have usually received phenomenal service. Unfortunately, this visit was very different. The front desk attendant was dismissive and non-empathetic when informing me that my appointment was scheduled for a different date and time—even though I personally scheduled it for this day and had confirmed it the day before. Beautiful Smiling Staff all away around. Helpful and Friendly. Throughly Cleans my Teeth every time. Last year I had a tooth removed for the very 1st time Dr. Patel was very gentle and made my Experience less Painful, I was extremely scared but he assured me everything was gonna be ok and it was I was so happy. I had no problem afterward.
I had such a wonderful experience at my dental visit! Sharon cleaned my teeth and also took the time to educate me. She made me feel so comfortable the entire time—she was kind, knowledgeable, and incredibly professional. It’s rare to meet someone who combines such skill with genuine care, and Sharon truly deserves recognition. Thank you for making my visit so positive!
