Had a really great time! The food was super tasty and staff are very friendly and willing to explain how to cook the food if asked. I wish they filled the water more often. We also ordered a sauce we never received. There was very loud music there and it was hard to hear ourselves or staff speak. Excellent atmosphere otherwise. We visited Gyu-Kaku BBQ and were seated at 8:30 PM. We ordered a large amount of food — probably over ten different items from the menu. However, after sitting in the restaurant for 1 hour and 40 minutes, we had only received about 15% of the food we ordered. When we raised our concerns, the manager, Nan, offered us two options: either extend our dining time or receive a 15% discount. Amazing BBQ. Got the Meat Lovers for 2 and it was a lot of food but all of it was really good. We went with a large party and allowed us to split the check 4 ways. Great service and came around multiple times to check up on us. 100% would go back. Drinks were great too!
We love this place - the meat, the vegetables, all the apps truly delicious. Service can be a little slow, and don’t expect to get the appetizers first, they bring things out at weird times, but it’s such a fun eating experience that it’s not a big deal.
