I wanted to share my experience as a reminder for other patients to be cautious about medication purchases during IVF treatment. After several online consultations, I attended my first in-person appointment for bloodwork and an ultrasound. During the visit, I was asked to purchase over $4,500 worth of stimulation medications, which I was told were non-refundable, before I had received or reviewed my baseline test results. I cannot recommend Hannam Fertility Clinic if you require a personalized protocol, have a complex medical history, or value empathetic care. My entire experience felt like being processed on a conveyor belt. Despite my specific baseline health and age, I was put on an over-medicated protocol that completely overwhelmed my system. My estrogen spiked to an extreme 27,000 pmol/L, causing severe metabolic side effects, weight gain, and dangerously elevated triglycerides.
