My husband and I had a wonderful experience adopting our two kitties from Happy Cats Haven. I chose this shelter because of how thorough they are with the adoption process and how well they prepare their cats—crate trained, litter box trained, and truly ready to go home. We adopted sisters from “Happy Cats,” River & Runner. We have donated in the past, but had not been to their facility. The facility is awesome, with some cats were roaming freely in the indoor space. Highly recommend adopting from them, and bringing joy to your home.😻

This is the best place to adopt a cat…or two 🥰The staff is so sweet and knowledgeable about all the kitties they have. When I went in there I knew I wanted a black cat but didn’t find any that were ready to be adopted…but then a cute little black floof walked out of a cage begging to be picked up and I instantly feel in love her. I couldn’t adopt her right away because her sister wasn’t ready so I waited. Absolutely fantastic resuce. We adopted a pair of TLC cats one month ago (Merlyn and Bubo). During that process, HCH did their due diligence to ensure that the transition was as smooth as possible for both us and the kitties. They gave us so many resources, including their medical records, and general behavior tips, to make sure the cats were set up for their best success. I had an excellent experience adopting my cat at the end of last year. The folks at Happy Cats were wonderful to work with, and allowed me to meet and play with my cat several times before adopting him. I especially liked that the adoption fee came with a free vet visit. There were multiple vets available to pick from, and thankfully my vet was already on the list! I have since had two other friends adopt from here and continue to recommend Happy Cats to anyone looking for a cat.
