Granville Health System established The Harold Sherman Adult Day Center in 1998 to meet the needs of disabled adults and their caregivers. The program is designed to provide care for adults with physical or cognitive impairment in a group setting while enabling their caregivers to work or benefit from respite. Our goal is to provide services that support the physical, emotional, and social well-being of adults with special needs and to partner with family caregivers for positive health outcomes.

My husband has mobility issues, diabetes as well as mid-range Alzheimer’s. He has been attending Harold Sherman for a year after spending twenty months in a nursing home due to a stroke. Our experience has been wonderful! The staff are so friendly, caring, approachable and treat each resident with dignity. They meet all his needs, including those relating to diabetes. My father attends Harold Sherman and all I have is kind and excellent things to say about this adult daycare. My father loves it as well and is eager to get there to the daycare on his designated days! The staff is excellent and very friendly to daycare participants and the caregivers! The Director does a great job with communicating all the announcements and needed information to the caregivers! This is a great place to trust for the care of your loved ones! My sister, who suffers from alzheimer's dementia, goes to this day care Monday-Friday . What a blessing it is for Kim, Michelle, and myself that we can go about our day knowing she is being well cared for and loved. The staff to include Raven, Barbara, and the director Gail have provided compassionate care and support to all of us. I can't say thank you enough .
My Aunt goes there daily and we couldn’t ask for better care for her. This makes it easier for us to go about our day without worrying if she is ok. The staff are caring and love them as they are their own family. If you know anything about this you would know that speaks volumes. So glad we found this for her. Love these ladies.
My husband is dementia and has had several strokes. After attending Harold Sherman, he has been doing well. He enjoys going and has been easier to take care of at home. The staff is very helpful and knows what he needs. I am grateful for the care that they give him. He responds to the staff very well.
