First Psychiatrist I've been with.Dr. Watts was professional from the very first appointment I had and has made sure I get the care I so desperately needed.Was very thorough in noting down my symptoms and explaining them to me.Any small adjustments I've asked to made she takes it seriously and makes it so I can function mentally the best I can.
Take your time telling her everything and Watts Hatira will take the time to hear you. Build your relationship with your Doctor. Nobody's perfect and Dr. Can make mistakes too...but with an honest heart, a few visits and patience Dr. Watts Hatira can and will help you. That means a lot to someone like me. I've had ADHD my whole life and she supports me weather I take medication or not. A patient, Doctor relationship is Huge. Dr. Watts is extremely caring, helpful, and professional. As someone who has many many doctors and a lot of experience with the health system through hundreds and hundreds of appointments, I can say that Dr. Watts is excellent and definitely one of the better ones, because she really cares, and takes her time. She is very focused, and is concerned with getting you well, and solving the problem. So many providers are on autopilot, and she definitely is not. I was recently transferred to Ms. Watts because my psychiatrist is no longer working. I'm glad I'm not stuck in this situation and was able to find another provider. There was no formal evaluation of my needs, but Ms. Watts proceeded to diagnose me as 'agitated'. I was agitated because during the two 20 minute appointments she seems very disorganized and could not even remember the prescriptions I was taking when discussing changes. Dr. Watts had a difficult time remembering my child's history and previous medications, despite being her patient for about a year. She often repeated questions and seemed confused.
Desperate for this appt, waited over a month for an eval only to have it cancelled 10 mins after it was supposed to start & rescheduled for another month out with no communication from Hatira. 0/10.
Our child saw Hatira Watts four times and we will never go back. Never waited less then an hour even though we were her second patient. First visit she paid more attention to her cell phone and her computer then she did to our child. The only thing she asked our child was how he was doing. Calls were not returned within a week if at all. Had to go back to PCP to get medication reregulated so he could function in school. Would not recommend to anyone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
