Don't go here. Worst experience ever. We love escape rooms and go to many. Shocked first by the gratuity added before we experienced anything. Probably a good thing because we would not have given any. We booked the Temple and arrived early. The lobby smelled urine as though a small town used the carpet. Had a great time doing the Pirate room for a date afternoon. I think it was a good balance of difficulty. We definitely used some hints and Gwen helped us when we needed it. She explained everything well to us and was very welcoming. I wouldn't recommend for a large group as the space is on the small side.
Not to be rude, but how this place has a 4.8 Google Review rating is BEYOND ME. I’d say Yelp reviews of a 2.3 are more accurate. …my husband and I agreed that the escape room here was the worst one we have ever done. And we have done some BAD ones. I’m not opposed to an automatic tipping fee - as I always tip our game hosts - but for someone that was really unwelcoming and barely supported us… it felt like we were being taken advantage of. Gwen was super nice and a pleasant check in process. She was super helpful when needed but made sure to let us work through the puzzles ! 5 stars!
My family and I had an amazing time at HD Escape Rooms! The puzzles were clever, challenging, and so much fun to solve as a team. A huge shout-out to our host, Jake, who made the whole experience even better. He was welcoming, funny, and super helpful whenever we needed a hint. Jake’s energy kept us engaged from start to finish, and he really went above and beyond to make sure we had a great time. We’ll definitely be back again soon!
