Could not be a better group of individuals working together to provide care for their patients. Such kindness and compassion is offered each time myself or a family member needs medical care. So grateful to have Health First Calhoun in our community.
I have been going to see Joey and the girls as I call them since my move from Louisville. I have some conditions that require specialist and medication changes and I have always felt the support from Joey and the staff that I needed. Joey in my experience is good at both getting you in and out for a quick visit when that's appropriate and he listens really well when you have bigger issues. And I know all about bigger issues. I really like Joey and we have a good doctor patient relationship.
I've been coming to Health First Calhoun for 6 years. I've always been seen in a timely manner. Joey has always been plenty of time with me an addressed both physical and mental health.
Over 10 years I have been a patient of APRN Joey Lowery. In that time I have never been treated as a human. I’m always treated as someone who is after narcotics or who is mentally unstable. I suffer from chronic pain, HBP, autoimmune, PCOS and manic depression. So, YES I need medication. I cut back to 1 visit a year to keep my medication for my heart refilled. But when I go in 1 hour is a minimum wait time if not longer. I will be the only patient but another patient can walk in and be seen before me. I walked out today.... read more
