They got me in very fast, which I REALLY appreciated because I had insurance that was expiring. I saw both doctors, one was incredibly helpful with navigating work limitations due to a past surgery— very kind, understanding, and competent; the other did my pap smear and it was painless, he did a great job educating me and making a test that no one looks forward to quick and easy. I have been a patient here for 3 years, and I can confidently say I've never had any issues. No terribly-behind-schedule moments, no "forgot the med refill" moments, and no classic dismissal of my issues. I absolutely love this office. Dr. Villanueva Alvarez is exactly how a physician should be. He listens, explains and you don't feel rushed during your visits. Vanessa is great as is the whole staff. They are all very pleasant. It's nice to not dread going to the doctors! Highly recommend Health Texas Medical office in New Braunfels!
I have had a wonderful experience with this doctor’s office since 2015. From the front receptionist, to the medical assistants, and especially Dr. Villanueva Alvarez, everyone is always kind, professional, and welcoming. I also appreciate that appointments are always on time. Dr. Villanueva Alvarez truly listens and takes the time to answer all of my questions and concerns without making me feel rushed. Their front desk is responsive, efficient and polite. Wait time was minimal. Medical staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Dr. Villanueva Alvarez is absurdly polite and professional. If you are looking for a new Dr in the are, go see him. Trust me!
