My 83-year-old mother was visiting us from Canada. During her stay, she fell and fractured her pelvis. The doctor recommended Rehab and Chris Chalman, the administrator, was able to get us a bed very quickly. We were so relieved to have Mum in a facility where she was being taken care of 24 hours a day. This place is getting really bad. My relative has been here for more than 5years. With the new owners things are circling the drain. Food looks terrible. CNA staff is overworked, I rarely see the same staff members twice, I visit weekly. Nurses seem overworked. And very few of staff have a helpful smile on their face, but then I am always a stranger to new personnel. When my relative first came they were very happy, had friends with the CNA's and Nurses. Horrible. My mother is there and since Hill Valley has owned it the care, staffing and meal preparation and delivery of meals is poor. Residents are sitting for hours to be taken back to their rooms, calls from residents for help are not being answered or have taken over an hour or more to be answered. I know this because I am a frequent visitor and am witnessing this first hand. I cannot understand why there is not more staff to help these people and give them the dignity and cleanliness that they deserve. This is outr... read more

My husband is currently there for recovery from 2 open heart surgeries and colon surgery which means he has to wear a colon bag. Has been there about 2 weeks and has been admittted to the hospital now, he is currently in the hospital. this place is not equip for taking care of people with these types of condition. i need to know how to talk with the person in charge of this facility. or the state that has control over them.

The staff is compassionate, attentive, and truly dedicated to providing excellent care. They take the time to not only meet medical needs but also to show kindness and respect to residents and their families.
