My mom was a resident at Healthwin and they took amazing care of her! Staff were kind & considerate and made sure I was updated about her condition. I would recommend this facility, both for rehab and long-term care, to anyone who is looking.
I feel like with new ownership this place has gone down hill. They don't care about the residents at all, they leave it to family to take care of their own mom.. unacceptable behavior to any long term care facility. This is my grandma though and it just breaks my heart you took an oath to take care of the human life and you have failed at doing this. The director of nursing and administrator are rude and unprofessional. The worst customer services skills. They should not be taking care of our loved ones. Hill Valley Healthcare should do something about them.
I am finally writing this. I wanted to before but was told not to because it might have affected my grandma's care (and would have). Healthwin is a beautiful building and most the staff was so sweet. However this place was the death of my grandma. She was moved to Healthwin for therapy. The therapy and their team was wonderful. They got to know my grandma personally, along with all their other patients. If I had the option to put 0 stars i wouldn't, because the therapy earned the one. My mom was placed at Healthwin to get therapy after having a spinal lesion paralyze her. She was in the therapy department for 6 weeks and then moved to East 1 unit. The PT and OT at Healthwin are amazing! What I'm here to talk about is the medical side. Multiple times I had to fight to get medical treatment for my mom. I have been taking care of her for a year and a half. I know her inside and out. When she came down with a UTI, I Asked every day for a week to get treatment.
